... and parents too! i loooove photographing twins, theres nothing like the bond between them, and it's so easy to catch! we had quite the winter of a morning, it was freeezing! I couldn't believe what good sports these babies were through this nasty weather, you would never know in the photos!





... and just because I couldn't decide bw, or color with this shot... I chose both!

{skamania lodge... or not!}

I love taking this families photos! Such a sweet family, cute cute boys who are just curious and fun! When their mom contacted me with such a fun location as Skamania Lodge, I was thrilled! When I pulled in, never had actually been there myself, I got a little nervous- it was a dark rainy day anyway.. but all the evergreens surrounding the location left everything a bit too dark than I like it! We were loosing daylight fast but, luckily, we were along the gorge and it wasn't too hard to find another location just a block down the road... oh, this might be my new favorite spot! SUCH a gorgeous sunset.. ending with a DOWNFALL of Oregon's beautiful rain!

isn't he just the cutest? he had a ball crawling all over the place getting dirty and eating some leaves every now and again! i just love seeing parents totally smitten over their little one!

{gorgeous fall}

why can't every day of fall look this gorgeous?? I always love meeting up with this family, they are all so comfortable in front of the camera, which makes it easy to capture those sweet moments. I first meant little Roman when he was just barely rolling over... now he is running! One of my favorite things as a photographer, is watching these babies grow!

{fog at the mansion}

After rescheduling a few times I finally got to meet back up with this adorable family! We headed up to the Pittock Mansion {which has been quite a hit this year, if you haven't noticed!} where we ran into some super thick fog! There is usually a bit of fog at the mansion in the mornings, but this is the most Ive worked with- such a sweet looking backdrop! It got to be pretty chilly, probably the coldest session yet of the year- and this little six month old rocked it! Such a good baby boy and fun to work with!

{2 weeks}

little preston is two weeks today... still so itty bitty! here is a few days back at 10 days, wide eyed and alert!

{backyard family}

I love doing family sessions at my clients homes, it just gives off such a cozy feeling in all the photos, everyone is just more comfortable. These guys had a beautiful backyard, a perfect backdrop. The gorgeous mom of this family, happens to be the realtor that helped us find our home, she is amazing! If you are looking for a home in the Vancouver/Camas area, contact her she is just great!

We met up at g&g's house for this shoot, what gorgeous location... and a perfect afternoon, the sun even stayed with us for a few hours! Little A was sure a fast one, and wasn't too interested in me... but soon he gave in! How do I get so lucky with such adorable clients?
